The second meeting of head and deans of Universities in the World of Islam has been held for fulfilling the diplomacy of unity on the sidelines of the 29th of Islamic Unity Conference, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Participants in the event offered their proposals over putting an end to the current crises World of Islam is mired in and setbacks Muslims are wrestling with.

The religious clerics and participants in the commission placed stress on the importance of supporting unions, forums, communities, organizations and international associations so as to promote unity and rapprochement among Muslims.

The Islamic Unity Week (between 12-17th Rabiul Awwal) and the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) are annually celebrated by all Muslims around the globe.

Coincided with the Islamic Unity Week, the 29th International Islamic Unity Conference will be inaugurated at the Islamic Summit Hall in Tehran on Sunday, Dec. 27 with prominent religious clerics and thinkers in attendance.
