Speaking in a visit with Lebanon religious clerics, General Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki underscored the duties upon religious scholars, urging them to keep shouldering tasks they have toward the Islamic Ummah, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
In this visit, the grand Ayatollah underlined, “the problems we are facing should be studied from different aspects and anglers.” In his term, through such way the duty of religious cleric can be determined toward those setbacks.
Ayatollah Araki earlier stressed clerics played influential role in guiding people, given that they should not bow out of their missions.
General Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought also spurred on Muslims to follow their leaders’ guidance and advices.
Ayatollah Araki touched upon the necessity of unity and solidarity among Muslims, urging clerics to promote rapprochement and bring back unity, dignity and power to Islamic Umman via reasoning out differences and ironing out the standing conflicts.
Elsewhere in his remarks, General Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought to rely on their existing commonalities and not let anyone interfere in their inside affairs.
The grand Ayatollah earlier stressed the necessity of boosting Islamic unity, demanding Arab and Muslims to stand against the Zionist regime which is trying to disintegrate Islamic nation and hatch intrigue among Muslims.
General Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought also sternly warned against the threats of Takfiri movements to tarnish the image of Islam, massacring the civilians, scrambling the ties between Muslim states and also spreading fake teachings under the name of Islam.
Ayatollah Araki pointed to standing Takfiri moves in the region, calling on Muslims to unite and counter willful measures perpetrated by these groups all of which were egged on by Arrogant Powers.
