Hujjat-ul-Islam Moballeghi stresses:

Formation of unified Islamic nation, key issue for all Muslims

Senior Iranian cleric stressed formation of a unified Islamic nation as the most immediate demand of the Shia and Sunni community.
Formation of unified Islamic nation, key issue for all Muslims
Hujjat-ul-Islam Ahmad Moballeghi, member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts, met with a group of Pakistani seminary elites noted that the focal point of the Islamic Revolution is on formation of a unified Islamic nation and referred to boosting Islamic proximity and formation of a unified nation as the main struggle of late Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” Islamic Revolution, by saying a unified nation, does not mean a certain denomination rather a nation comprising of all religious schools of thought, ethnicities and languages from all countries.”

Prominent seminary figure referred to reasons on failure of the Muslim world to prevail unity and said,” One reason for spread of solidarity among all Muslims is lack of religious understanding on unity and that our thoughts do not contain an infrastructural view of the Islamic nation” and added,” On the other hand, social morality, as a linking entity, is substituted by prejudice and denial of other denominations.”

Head of Parliament’s Islamic research demanded,” The main question lies in what we lack, in comparison with European countries, that contrary to our rich religious, historical and civilization backgrounds, we have not succeeded in forming an Islamic nation.”

He added,” European countries, though diverse in ethnicities and languages, have formed a powerful union for the benefit of their comprising nations while Muslim world, contrary to the Qur’anic, religious and historical backgrounds as well as the resources and proper facilities and diversity of the countries, has not made it to move towards formation of a unified Islamic nation.”

In view of the cleric once the Islamic nation applies Qur’an in all aspects, it will achieve the most sustainable and advanced life as a unified nation and that at present the most immediate issue for the Shia and Sunni Muslims is formation of a unified nation modified with Qur’an.

Top cleric referred to efforts of the enemies to bring ethnical division among Muslims and said,” Arab and non-Arab Muslims are two wings for the Islamic world and according to previous experiences the stronger relations between Arab and non-Arab Muslims, the more brilliance Islam will have in the world.”

He added,” On the other hand when different Islamic ethnical groups are distanced, enemies make the best of the opportunity and religion would be the eventual loser; therefore, Arab and non-Arab Muslims should reduce the distances to prevent enemies misusing the situation.”

Member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts proposed more discussion and theorizing of some key issues like Arab and non-Arab warning that the more ignorance in this regard will lead to more benefits for the Zionists and world arrogant powers.

The scholar noted that any effort to excommunicate a certain denomination or part of the Muslim community is in full contrast with the lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) stressing that all relations in the Islamic nation are defined based on fraternity while no other religion has ever included the notion of brotherhood.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Moballeghi called academicians, scholars, media activists, politicians and cultural elites to move towards formation of unified Islamic nation and said,” Since Islamic nation has its clear geographical borders, when we discuss the nation of Muslims it means we recognize all these borders.”

He denied Iranophobic propaganda which accuses the country of alleged efforts to spread Shia in the world while Iran is contributing its most supports for the Sunni world at present.

The cleric expressed regret that Pakistan, which has been the land of unity figures like Mohammad Iqbal Lahori should also cradle groups who are provoked against Islamic nation.
