Grand Ayatollah Hussein Noori Hamedani, top Shia jurisprudent, met with a group of Iran’s army staff highlighting necessity of Muslims’ standing against enemies and that they will safeguard Islam at the price of their lives, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He hailed Imam Khomeini (RA), the founder of Islamic revolution, for standing against oppressors proving the ineffectiveness of the tyrant rulers and that Muslims can beat the puppet rulers once they are united.
 
Iranian cleric referred to the history of war and hostility of the west and said,” Enemies should note that the right is invincible opposite to the wrong which is doomed to annihilate soon.”
 
Top religious figure assimilated martyrdom and Jihad (struggle in the path of God) as the secure fort which secures the honor of Muslims.
 
He said,” Jihad is different from war since a war is aimed at dominating lands while Jihad aims at defending one’s country against enemies.
