"Takfiri groups main hurdle in Vienna talks": political analyst

The Middle East political commentator Sabbah Zanganeh in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) detailed his views over current political turmoil in Syria and delineated his line on the present hurdles in securing peace in the country.

In his term, "The two sides involved in the present crisis are seeking to gain momentum in this political turmoil and battleship."

"Given this general perspective, reaching to an agreement will be unlikely, unless the two main powers exert more force and the involved sided respect to the ceasefire putting an end to the current commotion," highlighted the political commentator.

"Many an uncertainty has been remained about terrorist groups and the vague trend of those infighting in Syria against its government," highlighted Zanganeh adding breaking the ceasefire would be quite possible in such milieu.

"It would on the face of it seem that forming a framework for tackling humanitarian related issues, exchanging captives, and burying the dead should be placed high on agenda," pointed out the political analyst adding the foresaid issues can be carried out and implemented through strengthening reasonable distance from the complex political thorny issues.

Zanganeh beckoned to the recent gathering mounted in Vienna over the crisis in which top diplomats resumed talks on the Syria conflict.

Powers attending the talks are Russia and Iran on the one hand, supporting Syrian President Bashar Assad, and the US, Saudi Arabia and European states on the other, trying to topple him with the help of militants.

With this connection, Zanganeh highlighted the main obstacles in this round of talks stressing, "Saudi-backed Takfiri groups are the main hurdles, given the innovative military weaponries they have accessed to, they've felt more power gathering through these supplies and aids from Saudi Arabia and Turkey, they can gain momentum in the battle field and reach triumph."

"Iran is very hopeful about the final solution for Syria crisis stressing the continuation of clashes in the country favors no one," highlighted the Middle East political analyst.
