Ayatollah Araki visits Lebanon Foreign minister

Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki in a visit with Lebanon Foreign Minister announced the readiness of the World Forum for cooperation with Lebanon for upholding unity among Muslims in this country.

Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki in a visit with Lebanon Foreign Minister, Jobran Basil announced the readiness of the World Forum for cooperation with Lebanon to forward unity plan and objective among Muslims in this country, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

To Ayatollah Araki, Lebanon Foreign Minister tries to take step in the realm of unity and rapprochement among Muslims, voicing hope that their plans in the area will succeed.


“The World Forum for proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought announces its readiness to collaboration with Lebanon Foreign ministry in forwarding the proposed unity plans,” said Ayatollah Araki.

The seasoned cleric voiced hope in the future peace and security back to the region and people live in amicable condition while societies will be purged from extremist groups.


Needless to say, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought arrived in the Lebanese capital of Beirut so as visit top ranking officials of the country.

A board of clerics and officials, including grand Ayatollah Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, Secretary General of Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly and Mahmoud Mohammadi Araqi, member of the supreme council at the world forum and also Mohammad Hussein Tabaraeean, deputy of the world forum accompany Ayatollah Araki in this trip.

One day meeting for foundation of the union of resistance Ulima is held in Beirut on Tuesday, October 20, 2014.
