Top Iranian jurisprudent has issued a message to the conference on International Day of Mosques to highlight the most important necessities in the world of Islam on the occasion.

Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, senior Iranian cleric, has issued a message to the 15th meeting of International Day of Mosques counting safeguarding Islam, al-Quds Mosque as well as glory and solidarity of Islamic countries as the common objectives of Muslim world, reported Taqrib news Agency (TNA).
 
He referred to the arson attack by a Christian man provoked to burn down Al Aqsa Mosque back in 1969 when the major part of al-Aqsa Mosque ceiling collapsed saying,” The fact is that the west has turned Middle East region as a prolific region for its benefits and imposed the Zionist regime to the area to stabilize their domination there.”
 
According to the cleric the plan was to dominate From Euphrates to the Nile and expand the Zionist regime in the whole region when the Palestinian and Lebanese nation rose against their plan.
 
The cleric in his message hailed the Muslim Iranian nation launched an Islamic government and foiled their plans to prevent enemies and Israel is on the verge of isolation in the region saying,” Particularly following the 33-day war of Lebanon, Zionist regime was badly hit by Hezbollah and its so-called invincible power was it is on a daily isolation process.”
 
Grand Ayatollah Makarem concluded his message with calling people from different Islamic denominations to join each other because the objective is the same; safeguarding Islam, al-Quds Mosque as well as honor and solidarity of Islamic countries.”
