Ayatollah Araki congratulates Leader over defeat of Daesh

Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, has issued a congratulatory message to the Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, hailing the total victory or resistance over Daesh terrorists, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Iranian religious figure in his message has called Daesh terrorists as a cancerous tumor removed from the body of Islam as a result of ‘unique’ brevity and sacrifice made by resistance movement.

“Undoubtedly this great victory is the onset to a new era for Islamic Awakening in line with convergence of Islamic nation” said the cleric in part of his message to the Supreme Leader and expressed hope that struggle by experts, elites and pacifist figures of the Muslim world under the leadership of the Supreme Leader will grow to a massive unifying movement and open doors to launching a unified Islamic Ummah (nation).

Backed by popular groups and Iranian military advisors, armed forces in Iraq and Syria have managed to withdraw Daesh militants out of their last strongholds in both countries, declaring full victory over the notorious terror group.

The occasion has been felicitated since Tuesday when the news on total liberation of the last strongholds by the terrorists has been announced.
