A group of Lebanese scholars issued a statement to condemn the foreign intervention in Yemen, defending the necessity of unity, dialogue and forgiveness.

The society of Jabal Amel scholars, on Sunday, issued a statement stressing the urgent need of the Islamic nation to solidarity, forgiveness and talks in order to overcome the disagreements, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Part of this statement runs," Invasion of US-Saudi coalition against the Yemeni civilians will lead to serious pursuit of the Yemeni nation to achieve their rights and protection of the Sovereignty in their country."
 
"Foreign intervention will worsen the situation in the war torn Arab country." continues the statement highlighting talks and agreement as the sole ways out of the present crisis in Yemen.
 
The statement issued by Lebanese scholars also demands the media and television channels to project the turmoil in Yemen and avoid division in this country.
