Iranian Shia cleric warns:

“All religions are hurt by ISIL.”

Iranian cleric warned against extremism as a threat to all religions stressing the issue as a common ground for followers of different religions to talk and cooperate for realization of peace in the world.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Kashani, director of Muslim-Christian Interfaith Dialogue Association, met with members of Center for Human Rights Studies stressing religions and peace as the common challenge for all religions warning against extremism as the threat against all religions, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Referring to extremism as the common threat against all religions, Iranian cleric demanded for solidarity among all religions and expansion of their cooperation for spread of peace across the globe.
 
Top cleric noted religions and peace as the proper ground for dialogue and cooperation between all religions and stressed,” The chaotic situation of the world and emerge of extremism in different religions have inspired religious leaders to investigate solutions against the issue.”
 
He referred to the naming of the current year as the Year of Mercy and said Christians are also hurt by these extremist moves; therefore, they are also in search of a solution out of the crisis.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Kashani also referred to the crimes committed by ISIL terrorist group in the region and across the globe and noted,” Followers of all religions are hurt by emergence and crimes committed by ISIL and are quite concerned over the issue.”
 
Director of Muslim-Christianity Interfaith Dialogue Association warned against ISIL’s misusing the Achill’s heel in each religion and demanded leaders to awaken their followers and take influential steps for realization of peace across the world.
 
He added,” Religious leaders have understood that all religions and denominations have to join and boost their tie for realization of peace in the world since any way out of solidarity will lead us to confront each other.”
 
Iranian cleric in this meeting praised Shia as the pioneer of peace and anthropomorphic moves bringing quotes from Ahlul Bayt (AS), household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) as proof for that.
 
He demanded Shia Muslims to feel responsible towards followers of all religions same way that they feel so towards their peers in Shia Islam.
