"Shiraz is to host the third working group of Iran-Russian Joint Economic Commission on August 17-18," Director General for Department for Economic and International Cooperation of Fars province Karim Arabi said on Sunday.

"Members of Iran and Russian joint economic commission along with representatives from 16 provinces will take part to mull expansion of relations and cooperation between the two countries," Arabi said.
He underscored, "Fars province is the second province in the country which hosts such significant economic meeting."
"Russia is currently suffering tough economic sanctions imposed by European Union and is regarded as a good market for Iran's products and that of Fars province," pointed out Arabi stressing Introduction of historical monuments, tourism and medical treatment of Fars province would be on the agenda of the joint economic commission.
Draft of a memorandum of understanding MoU is to be inked by the Iranian and Russian officals in the upcoming meeting.
After clinching final deal between Iran and G5+1, it is expected to witness expansion of international relations and cooperation.
