On the 67th anniversary of the Nakba in the occupied lands, Palestine’s supporters gathered in front Britain’s Prime Mister’s office

According to Taghrib’s reporter (TANA) in London, in the memory of Nekba’s martyrs, on its 67th anniversary, a group of Palestine’s supporters along with Palestinians residents of England, by condemning the Zionist’s crimes in the occupied lands, asked the British Government to end supporting the Zionist regime.

Friday May 15th was the 67th anniversary of the Nakba, or "catastrophe", when over 530 Palestinian towns and villages were razed to the ground, destroyed to make way for the creation of a colonialist settler state Israel.

The demonstrators demanded the release of the occupied lands and an end to the blockade of Gaza in support of Palestinians

One of the speakers pointed out to the injustice against Palestinians over the past few decades and said “over these years, thousands have been killed, and millions of refuges around the world, this is nothing but shame for international communities. This is the result of the oppression of the Zionist occupiers that have been imposed on defenseless people of Palestine.”

Another speaker noted “while the world is talking about peace for years, we see that all of these discussions have been useless. All these years the Zionists were killing. And they continued their cruelties against Palestinians, while the world has closed its eyes to all these crimes.”

According to some reports from human rights organisation, 80% of the indigenous Palestinian population were ethnically cleansed from their land through zionist massacres and attacks, rendering them refugees, never allowed to return to their homes in violation of international law.

By addressing the Britain’s Prime Minster, the protesters said, “ sooner or later, Palestinians will release, but the government has to carry the shame of supporting the Zionist regime”
