Quds day raises alarm about future of global Zionism: Sunni cleric

Friday Prayer Leader of Marivan, Mamousta Mostafa Shirzadi in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) stressed, " People of Kurdistan along with other Muslims from all Islamic sects and denominations will defend the ideals and values of Palestinians, partaking in Quds day rally up to the destruction of Israel.

O"ld City of al-Quds (Jerusalem), the first Qibla of Muslims, is held as one of the holy places for all Muslims across the globe," the religious cleric underscored.

According to the Friday Prayer Leader of Marivan, Staging Al-Quds Day rally sounds the alarm for the global Zionism indicating the purge of the regime in the future.

Mamousta Shirzadi beckoned to the rallies held for marking Quds Day, which falls on the last Friday of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, noting with this connection, people of Kurdistan has been always play a leading role.

Millions of people have taken to the streets across Iran and other world countries to show their solidarity with the Palestinians and condemn Israel’s decades-long occupation and atrocities.

In Kurdistan, people from all walks of life gathered for the annual event which usually marks people chanting slogans against Israel and burning the occupying regime's flags.
