Saudi religious elites and researcher Sheikh Mohammad Mahfouz in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) over the fall outs of Takfiri moves and necessity measures in standing against them stressed the key role of political reforms.

“Takfiri moves are of main challenges and threats Islamic Ummah faces with,” said the religious cleric, stating the phenomena is stem in various reasons including extremist thoughts, bigotry and political tyranny.


Mahfouz underlined the prime importance of unmasking Takrifi moves and severing any tie between the name of Islam and their misdeeds.

In his line, these extremist groups should not have any religious excuse and pretext. To him, unmasking their real identity is an efficient step in standing against massacres and vandalism perpetrated in Islamic countries.


Sheikh Mohammad Mahfouz enlarged on his line and delineated, “for forwarding the very objective political reforms is a necessity in as much as there stand a tie between the phenomena of Takfir and the political tyranny.”


Mahfouz beckoned to some Intl. and regional effort in laying the ground for Takfiri groups and stressed some political parties in countries like Turkey try to enrich their influence in the region select their stance in step with these groups, “that is the reason why they do not take action on the issue and brave the standing setback,” concluded Saudi researcher.
