He referred to the intrigues by arrogant powers to confront Islam through terrorist groups and demanded the media to form a united front against anti-Islamic and terrorist movements in a bid to warn the people from across the world against threats posed by the terrorist groups.

He referred to the 29th annual Islamic Unity Conference to be held in Tehran and stressed the necessity of such events in regards to the present situation in the world of Islam.

He demanded for cooperation of the political, scientific and religious figures for an active conference in a bid to send the clear message of hatred for terrorist and extremist groups.

“Today Muslim world is in dire need of unity and the Islamic nation should both confront the intrigues to disperse Muslims and also maintains its solidarity to resist against issues created by terrorist groups leading the society towards annihilation.” noted the cleric.

Ayatollah Akhtari called the unity among different Islamic denominations as a fundamental and logical demand and quoted the holy book of Islam stressing unity for the Islamic nation.
