Grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, addressed world Muslim clerics to call all Muslims for holding a greater international Quds Day rally, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

In this letter, Ayatollah Araki congratulated on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan referring to the issues of the Muslim world particularly the issue of Palestine.

Part of this letter runs," US-Zionist plots, which aim discouraging Muslims from their objectives, have led to various disagreements, genocide and oppression in the Islamic community while many ignorant Muslims have joined the deviation under the name of Islam."

He added," This is while holy Qur'an and lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) highlight unity as the bound joining all Muslims stressing avoiding violence, disagreements, hostility and also prioritizing the oppressed on top of its agenda."
According to the Iranian cleric terrorism and DAESH in Iraq and Syria, catastrophic situation in Yemen and the disagreements in the Islamic states should not marginalize the objectives of the Islamic unity including freedom of Palestine and Al Quds.

Ayatollah Araki called all to join for marking international Al Quds Day saying," Same way that the world of non-believers have joined to prevent realization of the rights of the Muslims, the fate of the Islamic world is also at their own hands." And added," The issue of Palestine has always been a meeting point and a reason for unity of all Islamic communities."

The cleric expressed hope that the international Quds Day will be the day when Muslims will join scholars and thinkers to reveal the plots of the enemies and also demonstrate a view of the solidarity among Muslims.

Ayatollah Araki referred to the Muslim communities' attention to the paths maintained by their leaders and demanded scholars to call all for marking the international Quds Day rallies.
