Demo against UK Govt. staged to be held across the country

Once again the oppositions of the Conservative government’s austerity policies, is to protest across the UK.

According to Taghrib’s reporter (TNA) in London, George Osborne, Britain’s Chancellor of the Exchequer, is to announce an emergency budget on Wednesday 8th July. The aim this new budget is to implement government’s new austerity programme, in which the social welfare budget will decrease to 12 billion pounds.

Trade unions, government employees and student unions also announced that they would protest on the same day across the country.

David Cameron’s opposition in London will gather in front of the Parliament next Wednesday. The oppositions have said that they will do anything to force the government to retreat from its policies.

Representatives of peaceful and anti-war groups are also supporting the demonstration against government’s policies. They believe that by aiming to expand military policies in the world, the British government has started the austerity policy.

David Cameron’s military programme includes, changing the nuclear submarine system known as ‘Trident’ which is said it will cost about 100 Billion pounds.
Britain’s nuclear submarine system is based in Scotland and many are against it.
Most NGOs in the UK wants an end to this nuclear submarine.
