Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought Ayatollah Mohsen Araki traveled to Golistan Province to addresse a ceremony mounted in Golshan Mosque for Mina victims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Hujjatul Islam Seyyed Hamed Alamul Hoda, deputy for Iran affairs in the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought accompanies him on this trip.
 
The crush occurred on September 24 after two large masses of pilgrims fused together.

Saudi Arabia claims nearly 770 people were killed in the calamity, but officials with Iran’s Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization say about 4,700 people, including 464 Iranians, lost their lives in the tragedy.
