Revival of Islamic identity, most important achievement of Iran Revolution
Grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, secretary general of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in an interview with Iran’s IQNA News Agency hailed the major achievements during the four past decades following the Islamic Revolution saying that a society can promote only when it recognizes its identity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” One of the reasons for lad of the Islamic nations, including Iran during Pahlavi dynasty (1925-1979) was a torn and trodden identity leading Islamic nations to weak communities easily looted of their wealth and natural resources by some foreign countries.”

He referred to a dominated economic system before the Islamic Revolution and also a cultural ambiance where the youths were ridiculed if needed to practice their daily prayers in universities as well as lack of independent national diplomacy in the field of politics.

Ayatollah Araki noted,” Islamic Revolution revived and strengthened the identity of our Islamic society. The point that Islamic resistance formed in post-revolution era which was proof for a mighty determination to confront the domination of foreign players over our country.”

He counted an independent political determination as the second achievement of the Islamic Revolution and said,” This victory has its roots in revival of the identity of our nation leading it to liberally make decisions.”

Iranian cleric highlighted economic achievements as the third field of success for Iranian nation after the victory of Islamic Revolution and said,” A comparison of the economic situation after Revolution proves that the economy of our country has also been revived bringing us the capability to make decisions independently and opening the ways for advancements based on our domestic capabilities.”

Grand Ayatollah Araki made the remarks in an interview with IQNA News Agency on the eve of the anniversary of Islamic Revolution, Ten Days of Dawn.
