Mina incident, KSA retaliation on Iranian pilgrims
Sheikh Shams el Din Sharaf el Din, head of Yemen Union of Scholars, referred to Mina incident as a proof for incompetency of Saudi Arabia in managing annual Hajj incident noting that Al Saud views the two holy mosques as a personal property ignoring any respect for the holy sites, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He stressed necessity of Muslim countries involvement in managing Hajj so that the event is managed by a board of different Islamic states rather than Saudi Arabia as the single host.

Yemeni scholar reiterated that Mina mishap proved the hostile behavior of Al Saud with Hajj pilgrims, a serious issue which might lead to arguments within the royal family.

He called the vast number of Iranian victims in this incident as a retaliatory measure of the hosting Saudi Arabia with Iranian pilgrims.

“Al Saud does not have the permission to ban Islamic countries from involvement in managing the two holy mosques; therefore, all Muslim states can play a role in it.” said Sheikh Sharaf el Din quoting verse 25 of Chapter Hajj from the holy Qur’an on Al Haram Mosque belonging to all Muslims.

Head of Yemen Union of Scholars also criticized Saudi government to hijack the annual Islamic event for the benefits of the US and Zionist regime of Israel as well as its personal interests.
