'Truce deal, a ground for resuming political dialogues'

"Syrian government was after blocking Takfiri groups' effort in exploiting the agreement on ceasefire, not letting them foster their strength," highlighted the political commentator, Ahmad Kazem Zadeh.

Syrian government was after blocking Takfiri groups' effort in exploiting the truce, not letting them foster their strength and gain momentum. The reports show relative success in observing the milestone deal on the Syrian crisis.

With this connection Russian authorities are about to offer the content of the truce deal in the form of a resolution approved by United Nation Security Council through which they can make it a practice to provide the way for resuming political dialogues.

Given the foresaid points, Ahmad Kazem Zadeh in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) detailed his lines on the area clarifying issues as to the truce agreement:

Answering the question "what are the contents of truce deal implemented since last Monday and how much can be hopeful to its success?", Kazem Zadeh underlined, "no original text has been released up to here on account of United states reluctance."

"Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has repeatedly called for the US to make the Syria truce agreement public," pointed out the political analyst stressing Washington, however, was reluctant to release the details of the deal, citing security concerns for some US-backed militant groups operating in Syria.

Kazem Zadeh went on to stress, "the deal's initial aims include allowing humanitarian access especially in Allepo and of course the joint Moscow-Washington attacks against militant groups are not covered by the agreement, including Daesh and Jabhat Fateh al-Sham."

As for the implementation process, Kazem Zadeh stressed, "All assessments show positive outcome with this regard, albeit  the ceasefire agreement has been violated by militant groups so many times."

"All these groups approved and backed by Saudi Arabia and although KSA agreed with the stance stipulated in the truce deal, but along with Zionism regime sill supplies the ways for Takfiri and extremist groups," the political commentator underscored.

On September 9, Russia and the United States agreed on a milestone deal on the Syrian crisis after some 13 hours of marathon talks in the Swiss city of Geneva.

The deal, which began on September 12 and was initially agreed to last seven days, calls for increased humanitarian aid for those trapped  inside the embattled northwestern city of Aleppo.

With this connection, Kazemzadeh beckoned to the covered area in the deal stressing, "Most of clashes are observed in Aleppo, and although no details released with this regard, but it would on the face of it seem the ceasefire would be centered on Aleppo."

Under the terms of the ceasefire agreement, Russian and American fighter jets would launch joint airstrikes and pound the positions of Takfiri terrorist groups in Syria.

According to Kazemzadeh, "the involved parts of Syria and Russia are committed to the demands of the deal and do not want to observe the collapse of ceasefire, but if Takfiri groups or any side of the deal fail to meet its obligations under a recently implemented ceasefire then the truce deal may fall apart."

"Syrian government was after blocking Takfiri groups' effort in exploiting the agreement for gaining momentum, not letting them foster their strength," pointed out the political analyst stressing up to here Syrian government has been fulfill many its objectives.

Syria has been gripped by foreign-backed militancy since March 2011. Over the past few months, the Takfiri militants active in the Arab country have suffered major setbacks as the Syrian army has managed to liberate several areas.

According to UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura, more than 400,000 people have been killed in the conflict in Syria. The UN has stopped its official casualty count in Syria, citing its inability to verify the figures it receives from various sources.

To put an end on this crisis, According to Ahmad Kazem Zadeh, Syria government supports the document and the milestone deal on the crisis unless it vviolates the national sovereignty of the country.
