Zionism is icon of oppression: Ayatollah Moballeqi

President of Islamic Research Center at Parliament, Ayatollah Ahmad Moballeqi censured severely Zionist officials for backing Takfiri and extremist groups in a bid to advance their set objectives in the region, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Speaking in a meeting with some Palestrina religious clerics, Ayatollah Ahmad Moballeqi beckoned to the phenomenon of Takfir and underscored some latent layers and hidden political hands behind the measures committed by Takfiri groups.

“The regime of Zionism not only perpetrates crime in Palestine, but also aims at tarnishing and defacing the image of divine religion of Islam,” said President of Islamic Research Center at Parliament.

“Zionism is the icon of cruelty and oppression,” stressed the grand Ayatollah putting stress as well on the prime importance of Palestinian issue which by nature enjoyed a high status in the world of Islam and among Muslim nations.

Ayatollah Moballeqi placed emphases on this very line that the scale of hardships Palestinian nation are mired in and trying to go through have been fallen on deaf ears in international communities.

“Their problems are still there and in some cases they have been even aggravated,” said President of Islamic Research Center at Parliament.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the unity activist and researcher lauded Palestinian for being steadfast in their standing against the regime of Zionism, naming the nation as the model and symbol of resistance.

It is worthwhile to note that in the meeting, President of Islamic Research Center at Parliament opened dialogue with religious clerics of Palestine over the standing setbacks and problems Muslims in the region and Palestinians in the occupied land are mired in and trying to wrestle with.
