One of the greatest books of the Muslim world, Nahj al-Balagha (Peak of Eloquence) is the focus for the new psychological research of Muslim scholars.

"Psychology in Nahj al-Balagha" is the name of the book on Islamic psychoanalysis based on an analysis of Nahj al-Balagha, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

This book is written by a group of authors and is to be published by the Publication of Seminary and University Research center.

Hujjat -ol-Islam Masoud Azerbaijani, supervisor of the authorship team said, "Nahj al-Balagha should not be considered as a compilation of recommendations since a deeper look at the book reveals that as a basis for Islamic worldview.

According to the cleric a content based analysis of the phrases is hired to find the psychological aspect of Nahj al-Balagha, so that a theory for experimental psychology discussions is developed.

About the main focus of the phrases for this research he said, "Many parts of Nahj al Balagha have a kind of counseling approach and it is quite natural that some of these advices are on psychological health of the people."

He reiterated that Islamic properties have to be prioritized for developing Islamic and native sciences of Muslims.

Nhj al Balagha is a collection of sermons, advices and letters of Imam Ali (AS), first Shia Imam and cousin of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and one of the major references for Muslims.
