The Deputy of Social Affair in the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Abdollah Sohrabi delineated the programs fulfilled thus far and objectives to be forwarded and advanced in the unity area in coming years, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Speaking in a meeting held at the premise of Taqrib News Agency office, Sohrabi placed accentuation on this fact that “Clarifying activates and missions is of the main responsibilities upon all managers and officials.”
The unity activist beckoned to the willful policy of some world powers and underscored “the arrogant World made some attempts to hijack Muslims’ moves especially thereafter the emergence and spread of Islamic Awakening phenomenon.”
The Deputy of Social Affair in the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought went on to add that due to such malignant measures, “what we are witness to in the here and now is a gap among Muslim nations in the region.”
Sohrabi touched upon the existing showdowns among Muslims in the region and placed accentuation on this very line that the present conflicts and disunity among Muslims can also be traced back to over a thousand years ago.
In another line of his remarks, He related on the responsibilities shouldered by the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought and underscored the unity organization gives its consummate attention to arrive at its set objectives in the unity area through serious organization and pertinent programs. To do so, in his term, the World Forum uses the standing capacities and facilities.
The Deputy of Social Affair in the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought also lauded the achievements made in the twenty-eighth international Islamic unity conference.
It is noteworthy that the twenty-eighth international Islamic unity conference was held from 7th Until 10th of January 2015, with the presence of great thinkers and intellectuals to foil the hatched plots of enemies in this and related areas. The main themes of the conference were Palestine and Gaza, Islamic unity (its necessity, components and element), sectarian strife and extremist.
In his line, the 28th International Islamic Unity Conference under the banner of “Islamic United Ummah, Challenges and Strategies” held during the Unity Week was mounted and held qualitatively and quantitatively different from its previous events.
It is noteworthy that, different commotions were held among Shia and Sunni thinkers so as to lay the ground form them to review their problems and come up with efficient roadmaps to reason them out.
Acording to Sohrabi, the youth were counted [in the event] as an efficient stratums in the area of unity and a special commission was established for them.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Deputy of Social Affair in the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought stressed the necessity of using inside potentials of Sunni clerics and people.
Sohrabi expressed satisfaction over the concerted and concentrated efforts made by Sunni clerics and scholars in the unity area and meanwhile underscored, “these attempts are not enough considering.”
