The 1st International Seminar under the banner of “Muslim Women’s’ viewpoints” was held in UK Capital City of London on Friday October 23 with Head of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thoughts, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki and Head of the Islamic Center of London, Hojjatol Islam Shomali in attendance, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Speaking in event, Ayatollah Araki beckoned to the martyrdom of Imam Hossein (PBUH) and underscored it is incumbent upon Muslims to know the infallible Imam and the main philosophy and objective of his great movement.


General Secretory of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thoughts also urged Muslims to abide by the Islamic teachings and preserve the lifestyle and traditions of Islam Prophet (PBUH) and Ahlalbayt.

In this seminar, General Secretary of the Global Association of Muslim Women, Touba Kermani gave speech and delineated the aim of founding this association.


According to her, Global Association of Muslim Women which is titled, from now on, ‘association’ in this Statute, is a global, nonprofit and nongovernmental organization which aims at improving and enriching the participation of Muslim women so as to forward objectives in global peace arena.

Informing female thinkers and pundits and Muslim elites in addition to furthering understanding among them in the realms of religion, culture, society and politics Is of objectives this association tries to fulfill.


The Global Association of Muslim Women also tries to utilize the potential and activated capacity of active female thinkers and pundits and Muslim women in the world to further unity and rapprochement among Muslims.

In the event Head of the Islamic Center of London, Hojjatol Islam Shomali stressed the telling role of Muslim women in society and in the realm of unity.


It is worthwhile noting, the seminar was mounted and held by the cooperation of the Global Association of Muslim Women, the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Though and London Islamic Center.
