New Islamic civilization is sacred desire: Sunni cleric

Molavi Mohammad Eshaq Madani, former head of the Supreme Council of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) placed accentuation on the prime importance of promoting unity and rapprochement in the World of Islam noting the onus is on each Muslim to step up and make a move for boosting and preserving unity in the World of Islam.

"Muslims should abide by Islamic principles and have piety," stressed the religious cleric noting Unity is possible when people are mindful of their religious duties and instructions.

"The greatest obstacle in the way of promoting unity is indeed human mundane cravings and inner desires," highlighted the unity activists and went on to stress, "unity these days are not a major concern for many people"

"If humans have piety and religion, then they can reach and secure rapprochement and unity easily," stressed
the member of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought.

"The best solution and roadmap for promoting unity is to abide by the Islamic principles and regulation, and to be as well fearful of defying them," underscored the religious cleric enlarging on his line by quoting what God Almighty says in His holy book, "hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided."

"In the past, people gathered in mosques, where they talked about religious issues together, while
today, the world is turned into a village," underlined  the religious cleric noting through using social media, and new facilities, all countries interact easily and are closer to each other.

"Given the above lines, unity simply can be secured and promoted among countries," pointed out former head of the Supreme Council of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought urging Muslims from all sects and denominations to use the standing potential and capacities for advancing the set objectives in the World of Islam.

"Muslims share takes and values in various areas like Monotheism, prophecy, Qur'an and many jurisprudential areas," pointed out the religious thinker
urging Muslims and religious clerics to focus on these shared values and commonalities.

Molavi Eshaq Madani continued, "The enemies of divine Islam, in spite of their fundamental differences, have united while directed us to ignore the basic issues and principles of divine religion of Islam."

The senior member of Iran top unity center demanded Muslims not to be after their own interests while turning a blind eye to the right of other Islamic sects.

"In other word, unity can be not achieved unless Muslims work in tandem and team up in various areas," highlighted the unity activists urging Muslims to place their focus and give their consummate attention to their shared values and principles.

"The enemy are after increasing dispersion among Muslim nations sparing no effort in advancing their willful objectives," stressed the religious cleric noting ,"if unity is not secured and preserved in the World of Islam, there will be more chaos in Islamic countries."

Beckoned to the 31st edition of the International Islamic Unity Conference entitled "Unity and Requirements of Modern Islamic Civilization", the religious cleric noted, "The
new Islamic civilization is a very sacred desire."

Elsewhere in his remarks, the seasoned cleric urged Muslims and elites to grab the golden chance provided by Islamic Republic of Iran and the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought and change their views for solving the standing setbacks.

Pointing the schemes hatched by the enemies of divine Islam, the former head of the Supreme Council of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought stressed, "If we mount one conference for promoting unity, the enemies will organize hundreds of conferences to disunite Muslims."

"Of course, we should not just rely on these conferences; thereupon all officials, scholars, elites and thinkers must think of the roadmaps for boosting rapprochement and countering enemies' propaganda against Islamic Ummah," underscored the religious cleric.

Molavi Eshaq Madani thanked Taqrib News Agency (TNA) for its attempts in the unity arena noting, "Taqrib News Agency (TNA) enjoys a special status in the World of Islam and did a great job in this area and the more it tries, the more successful it will be."

"Other news agencies in the country
should also take their steps in the realm of unity," stressed the religious cleric noting all the tasks in this area should not be shouldered by the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought and Taqrib News Agency.

"Each one of Muslims is responsible in this connection and should do their very utmost and work in tandem against their common enemies," underscored former head of the Supreme Council of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought.

The World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought is to mount the 31st edition of international Islamic Unity Conference entitled "Unity and Requirements of Modern Islamic Civilization" in December 5-7, 2017.

The event is to go underway for three days in Iranian capital city of Tehran with the participation of hundreds of domestic and foreign guests, prominent scholars and religious figures from various Muslim countries.

Some commissions are to be mounted on the sideline of the conference and centered on different topics, which are placed high on the agenda. In these commissions all scholars and intellectuals with different religious views and from different parts of the World of Islam gather together. The attendees sit at talks and come up with solutions for solving challenges the World of Islam wrestles with.
