Taqrib News Agency moves in rapprochement avenue

Senior Presidential Advisor Mohammad-Reza Sadeq in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) on the sideline of the 20th Exhibition of Press and News Agencies put accentuation on the key role of media in depicting the real image of Islam and its true principles.

Sadeq beckoned to the political changes in the region, especially there after first world War and the collapse of Ottoman empire and stressed after the event no government had been formed and established based on Islamic principles up to the victory of Islamic Revolution of Iran in 1979.

In his line, up to that landmark event some groups shut their eyes to Islamic teachings and principles, and the divine religion somehow was driven to the forgotten corner of peoples’ lives.

The political face stressed Iran Revolution, which was spearheaded by late Imam Khomeini, established a new political system based on Islamic values and offered the idea of establishing a government based on religious teachings and principles.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Senior Presidential Advisor leveled criticism at Takfiri and extremist moves, urging Muslims to be too well united against such measures.

Mohammad-Reza Sadeq accentuated role of media in foiling extremisms plots and counteracting their willful efforts, haling Taqrib News Agency (TNA) for moving in the unity path and promoting rapprochement among Muslims.
