‘Trump's decision will unite Muslims’: Sunni cleric

Senior Iranian Sunni cleric reiterated on Sunday that the recent Trump’s decision regarding US embassy move will launch a big intrigue though that will unite Muslim world.

Molavi Es’haq Madani, member of the Supreme Council at the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) warned that operating the decision made by US President will launch a massive intrigue calling all Muslims to unite in a body against the issue.
 
He said,” US President intends to play with emotions of Muslims” and added,” Trump intends to provoke and humiliate Muslims to convey the message that he can act as he wishes.”
 
According to the Sunni cleric Trump’s decision has been announced in a world which is fully aware that Jerusalem belongs to Muslims and has been respected by them for centuries warning that such moves will provoke Muslims as well as the liberal nations of the world.
 
Member of the world forum said it is likely that the announcement means to try Muslim world reactions but if the decision is seriously made then it will lead to a great intrigue which will not be simply forgotten by Muslims.
 
The cleric vowed that the decision will seclude Washington and added,” Expressing criticism by Muslim community, even if US President intends to try Muslim world reaction, will be influential because that will lead to seclusion of the country in the world.”
 
He referred to dissatisfaction of the European countries over Trump’s decision and said,” While the US is not likely to operate its decision, Zionists seem to maintain a serious look at that” adding,” The US is dominated by the Zionists and materialization of embassy move to Jerusalem will certainly cause a huge intrigue in the world.”
 
Top Iranian Sunni cleric called Islamic unity as a hinder for realization of Trump’s decision to move US embassy and said,” Although Muslims are not absolutely unified today but the new issue might turn out beneficial for the world of Islam.”
 
He urged Muslims to maintain their solidarity via a unified voice calling Jerusalem as their original Qibla.
