OIC member states on top of importers from Iran

Iran's Customs statistics indicate that during the first six months of Iranian year, member countries of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) are on top of importing countries from Iran.

Upon the statistics,they have imported 19,366 tons of goods worth 8 billion and 982 million dollars from Iran.

Compared with the same period in the last year, the figures rose by one percent, both in weight and value.

Also, member states of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) took the second place in this concern by importing 5,980 tons worth 3 billion and 577 million dollars from Iran.

The figure compared with the same period last year rose 3 percent in weight and value.

Upon the statistics, member states of Persian Gulf Cooperation Council ( PGCC) took the third rank by importing 4,431 tons of goods worth 2 billion and 181 million dollars, which compared with the same period of last year shows a rise of 16 percent in weight and 11 percent in value.

Commonwealth Independent States (CIS) took the fourth rank by importing 3,492 tons of goods worth one billion and 271 million dollars, which indicates 3 percent and four percent decrease respectively in weight and value.

Exporting goods and services in the first six months of this year was 47,895 tons worth 28 billion and 187 million dollars, which indicated growth of 10 percent in weight and 18 percent in value compared with the same period last year.
