Following the destruction of a Sunni mosque in a west neighborhood in Tehran, World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Tehran issued a statement demanding presidential deputy in Sunni affairs and bureau of Sunni seminaries to investigate the incident and provide the result to the public, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Iran deputy of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in a recent statement expressing sympathy over the destruction of a Sunni mosque in the capital Tehran saying," This incident has been painful to all Muslim unity activists."
 
It added that the incident stirs more of pondering over the reasons for the issue rather than sorrow and highlighted the most important sides to the event.
 
The statement demands Sunni community to maintain peace and at the same time seriously pursue the reasons for the issue.
 
World Forum also vows immediate investigation by the Islamic unity center into the issue as an important mission and then to publicize the result as soon as finding the main reasons for the incident.
 
Part of this statement runs," Certainly a group of people, either intentionally or indiscriminately, have made a mistake threatening to the society. Here we reject the move and announce that generalization of the issue to the Islamic system and its leadership is inappropriate."
 
It adds," Here, in alliance with our Sunni brothers and sisters, we announce our logical demand from the presidential deputy in Sunni affairs and bureau of Curriculum for Sunni seminaries, to seriously investigate into the issue and publicly announce the result."
