Late on Tuesday, Hamas published the video of the infiltration that left several Israeli soldiers dead on Monday.

The fighters used a tunnel near the Gazan border to storm the watchtower and kill at least five Israeli soldiers in an attack in Nahal Oz.

Israeli warplanes have been carrying out incessant airstrikes against the blockaded Gaza Strip since July 8. On July 17, thousands of Israeli soldiers launched a ground invasion into the densely-populated strip.

So far, at least 1,232 people have been killed and thousands of others injured by the Israeli regime’s offensive against the coastal sliver despite pressure from the international community.

At least two Gazan children were killed in the latest Israeli attacks. An 11-year-old handicapped girl was killed when Gaza City was shelled. The second girl was 16.

The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, has been launching retaliatory attacks against Israel.

The latest reports said five Israeli soldiers were injured and later evacuated from the region after clashes with Palestinian fighters.

Meanwhile, sirens went off in the Israeli cities of Beersheba and Beit Shemesh as rocket barrages from Gaza hit the region.

In the illegal settlement of Tzur Hadassah, 12 kilometers (seven miles) west of East al-Quds (Jerusalem), fire reportedly broke out following a rocket strike.

According to Israeli media, 130 Israeli soldiers have been hospitalized so far with 10 in critical condition.

While Israel confirms 53 Israelis have been killed in the war, Hamas sources put the number at over 100.
