Rahim Safavi, a top military adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) expatiated on the positive effect of holding the Islamic Unity conference noting the world of Islam is in dire need of unity and rapprochement.

Drawing attention to the history of Yemen in recent century, the political analyst stressed, “in 1923, We were witness to the invasion of Gamal Abdel Nasser's troops to Yemen.”

“Out of some 60,000 forces invading the country, only 7,000 of them survived and left Yemen,” pointed out the political analyst noting this indicates the spirit of resistance and fighting against oppression.

“The United Nations must condemn the brutal attack of Al Saud against the oppressed people of Yemen and facilitate relief efforts for children and oppressed people of Yemen,” pointed out the well-known face.
