War mongering policies, ignorance: factors behind disintegration of Muslims

Yasser AHMADVAND, manager of Iran’s Azad News Agency (ANA), in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) stressed the role of media in boosting Islamic unity counting war-mongering policies and also ignorance as the reasons behind disunity in the Islamic nation.

He highlighted the certain effect of media in bringing different Islamic denominations together and referred to importance of proximity based on Qur’an and lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) as the focus of Shia and Sunni scholars since long.

Manager of Azad News Agency referred to the ambiance created in the Islamic countries and the positive view of Al Azhar grand Mufti in cooperation with Iran’s Ayatollah Boroujerdi as well as the viewpoint of late Imam Khomeini (RA) and also the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution to strengthen the solidarity among Muslims.

He counted the war-mongering policies of foreign countries, ignorance and also pseudo-scholars as the reasons behind disunity of Muslims and deviation of the younger generation.

Yasser Ahmadvand referred to popularity of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and recognition of the prophet as the common asset of all Muslims calling that as the grounds for proximity in the world of Islam.

Iranian cultural figure also reiterated the role of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in boosting unity among different Islamic denominations.
