Grand Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, head of the Supreme Council at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in an exclusive interview with Russia Today channel related on the current issue of Muslim world highlighting the role of western states in spread of extremism and Takfiri movements across the world, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
An advisor of the Supreme Leader in Muslim world affairs, counted lack of culture and interference of some western countries as the reasons that helped increasing of Takfiri groups and spread of their extremist thoughts across the world.
 
Top cleric also expressed regret over the stampede incident in Mina extending his condolences for the families of the victims saying that such incidents might affect Tehran-Riyadh ties.
 
He also related on the political and military incidents in some Middle East countries and criticizing the management strategies of some Iraqi ruling parties for prioritizing their interests to the benefits of the nation.
 
Iranian cleric expressed hope for improvement of the situation in Iraq and utmost use of the natural and human resources in the war-torn country.
