Head of the “Islamic act” movement, Sheikh Zahir Jaeid in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA), on the sideline of the international Conference of Islamic World Scholars in Defense of Palestine Resistance, underscored the necessity of religious rapprochement at the present situation.


“The only way for standing against the greedy of regime of Zionism is resistance,” said the religious ceric calling on Muslims and especially religious clerics to make a move in this regard.

Sheikh Zahir Jaeid stressed the leading role of religious clerics in upholding unity and rapprochement among Muslims and underlined, “it is incumbent upon clerics from different Islamic denominations and sects to internalize the culture of rapprochement among Muslims.”


Elsewhere in his remarks, he beckoned to the programs and activities forwarded by the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thoughts and underlined, “the world forum can forward and implement the theory of solidarity and unity among Muslims by mounting and holding these gathering.”

Needless to say, the first international Conference of Islamic World Scholars in Defense of Palestine Resistance was held on September 9-10 in Iran Capital City of Tehran at the premise of Olampic Hotel.


The World Forum for proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thoughts by the cooperation other organizations holds this gathering with more than 200 prominent religious clerics from 53 countries in attendance.

A number of 143 religious clerics and 75 political, educational and Jihadi experts have been invited to this conference.

In the conference five commission titled “Palestinian and Islamic Duty", “Palestinian, Clerics and Elite Foundations", “Islamic Resistance in the region: necessities and components", “The Presence Challenges", and “Territorial Integrity" were held.
