“Striping nationality, Al Kalifa new strategy against Islamic Awakening” cleric

Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Mohammad Saeedi, guardian of Hazrat Masoumeh (AS) shrine in Qom, attended the mourning ceremony for martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (AS), referring to Bahraini cleric Sheikh Isa Qassim stripped of citizenship calling the move against Shia cleric as the new strategy pursued by Bahraini government to resist Islamic Awakening, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” Al Kalifa intends to freeze uprising of the Bahraini people and stem the revolution in the beginning steps.”

The cleric stressed that Bahrain uprising is not a religious or ethnic- centered movement and noted,” The move which has been pretended and blocked by Al Kalifa as a sectarian disagreement has maintained; therefore, the government is struggling to prevent outpour of the movement to other countries through detaining the leaders and stripping nationality of Sheikh Isa Qassim.”

He counted mismanagement and incapability of Bahraini authorities has led to dissatisfaction of the people and the issue will not be resolved and uprisings will not end before Al Kalifa stands independent from foreign players.

Senior scholar referred to demonstrations and peaceful protests of Bahraini people to demand their rights denouncing Al Kalifa for opening fire and killing as a response to the legal demands of the people and said,” This is a proof for illegality and arrogance nature of Bahrain government because an Islamic government, in case of dissatisfaction, tries to handle the shortcoming and serving its nation.”

Hujjat-ul-Islam Saeedi stressed,” Cries of Bahraini Shia and Sunni nation has reached the world and Al Kalifa should expect its near downfall.”
