The University of Religions and Denominations stationed in the Tehran 28th International Book Fair showcases its released scientific cultural works so as to introduce the university much better to the public.

Ali Amini from University of Religions and Denominations Booth stationed in the Tehran 28th International Book Fair in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA), touched upon the released scientific and cultural works by the university so as to introduce its set objectives much better to the public.
 
“This event is of prime importance regarding both cultural and educational perspectives,” he said stating the university use this very opportunity to introduce its mission in the area of unity and rapprochement among Muslims from different denominations and sects.
 

Amini beckoned to the recent released book of the university and underscored, the books titled “Comparative Instructive Verses” penned by religious cleric Ayatollah Qeblei; “Contemporary Islamic Jurisprudence” written by Supreme Council of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Eshaq Madani, and “Islamic religious solidarity” compiled by Bi.Azar Shirazi (Ph.D); are welcomed by the visitors thus far.
 
Elsewhere in his remarks, Amini pointed to the main priorities and objectives set for the University of Religions and Denominations, stressed, “ this university works for promoting unity, rapprochement and solidarity among Muslims from different Islamic denominations and sects.
 
Tehran’s 28th International Book Fair has officially opened its doors to book lovers once again this year. The event, the biggest of its kind in the Middle East and Asia, hosts hundreds of publishers from Iran and across the world.

With more than 300 thousand visitors a day, Tehran’s 28th international book fair continues to attract crowd from across Iran. Our correspondent Amir Mehdi Kazemi has visited the international section of the big event to see what foreign publishers have to offer.
 Some 2,450 Iranian publishers will attend this year’s exhibition, which attracts more than five million visitors every year. Over 2,800 foreign publishers from 65 countries will also be in attendance.

Iranian and foreign publishers will present nearly 300,000 and 165,000 book titles in the fair, respectively.The book fair is held annually as a social and cultural event with book displays, panel discussions and publishing deals.
The fair is considered the most significant event of its kind in Asia and the Middle East and a major venue for publishers and book lovers to exchange opinions and experiences.
