Al Azhar condemns killing of Iraqi civilians in Mosul

Egyptian prominent academy denounced US-led coalition airstrike on Mosul residents stressing that any campaign against ISIL necessitates global solidarity.
Al Azhar condemns killing of Iraqi civilians in Mosul
Al Azhar Univesity has issued a statement following the Mosul incident which has led to killing and wounding of more than 200 civilians, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Al Azhar in its statement has expressed concern over the critical situation in Mosul, destruction of infrastructures, immigration of the people to other regions and also lack of medical supplies demanding all anti-terrorist campaigners to be vigil lest that the combat with terrorism does not turn into a massacre of the civilians.
 
Prominent Egyptian seminary also slammed any act of terror: massacre of the people and destruction of the houses by ISIL warning that these crimes are all committed under the name of religion while Islam is far away from these heinous measures.
 
The statement concludes any anti-Daesh campaign prioritizes global solidarity so to get rid of the terrorist groups same way that all necessities should be maintained to support the civilians.
