Grand Ayatollah Araki:

"Unity is the identity of an Islamic nation."

Prominent Shia cleric called unity as the basis and identity of an Islamic community and noted once this identity is taken away the Islamic nature of our society collapses.
"Unity is the identity of an Islamic nation."
Grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic schools of thought, attending the second ceremony to tribute university theses on Islamic proximity in Mashhad, referred to solidarity as the identity of an Islamic nation and noted unity not a strategy or tactic, rather as the identity of an Islamic community, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said," An Islamic community has a, identity and a definition without which the Islamic nature of the Muslim community will be missing."
 
The cleric noted that the identity of an Islamic society is based on its obedience to God Almighty and Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and this obedience leads to a unified identity in this society.
 
Ayatollah Araki added," Based on the identity of the Islamic Revolution and according to the remarks of the supreme Leader creation of unity is the basis of an Islamic system."
 
Secretary General of the World Forum also touched upon the efforts by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought saying that the center has taken measures in holding religious- scientific dialogues in the domestic and international arenas.
