Pakistan Envoy to Islamic Republic of Iran, in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) underscored that the two countries are well on the way in the cultural area and shared quite a few commonalities with each other.

“Iranian and Pakistani people enjoy many a similarities in their religions,” said the political face stating the officials in two countries try their utmost to strengthen the standing tie.


He beckoned to the upcoming concert Pakistani artists are about to hold in some Provinces in Iran and underlined measures as such “let to know each other better”.

In his remarks he beckoned to the day of independence and said, “ Pakistan was created by its Founding Fathers to be a homeland for the Muslims of South Asia where democracy, constitutionalism and respect of human rights would reign supreme.”


“It was envisaged to be a country with no discrimination on the basis of creed, gender and sect and where minorities would enjoy equal rights as citizens of the state,” Noor Muhammad Jadmani underlined.

“Home to the ancient Indus Valley civilization, Pakistan has seen the flux of peoples, ideas and traditions from Central, West and South Asia as well as a bitter experience of colonialism,” he stressed in his message.

To him, this has resulted in a multiethnic society with many spoken languages and a ranged of social and cultural practices.


“One of the more prominent streaks in this cultural spectrum originates from the abiding kinship between Pakistan and Iran,” said Iran envoy stating that this kinship draws strength from common faith, cultural affinities and shared traditions created through centuries of interaction.

“These bonds have deepened further due to convergence of views on several issues in the political arena,” the political face mentioned.


In his term, “The cultural leadership of the two countries shares a similarity of vision about the future of their countries and the region”.

“Both are committed to revitalize their economies and to foster friendly relations in their neighborhood,” he pointed out.

Pakistan Envoy to Islamic Republic of Iran prayed at the end for his blessings for the two countries and their brotherly people.
