Beirut - Taqrib News Agency (TNA) Lebanese Foreign Minister says "Lebanon will not agree on a resolution condemning Syria in the Security Council."

In an interview with a Lebanese radio station "Sawt Al-Mada", Adnan Mansour said that "Lebanon will invest chairing Security Council diplomatically as it chaired the Group of 15 in the Security Council in which the decision is taken by the Group combined and only not Lebanon". 

"Even Russia may condemn such decision the way that is appealing to the west," said the minister to insist that Lebanon will not give in to western pressures. 

Mansour's remarks comes as the west in a coordinated effort led by United States turns up the heat on Syrian government to surrender to protester's demand and calls on President Bashar Assad to cede power.
