Iran, Russia stress confronting unilateralism

Iran's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia underlined the necessity of cooperation between the two countries in order to strengthen the approach of multilateralism, confront unilateralism and adhere to the principles contained in the United Nations Charter.

  In the meeting between Iran's Political Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Bagheri and Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov in Moscow, the two sides discussed efforts to prevent instrumental, political abuse and selective treatment of human rights issues by the Western powers.
 
It should be mentioned that Ali Bagheri met with Qatar's Deputy Foreign Minister on Tuesday during his trip to Doha.
