“Muslim elites play key role in convergence of Islamic countries”, expert

Deputy at Ministry of Science, Research and Technology highlighted the key role of Muslim elites in convergence of Islamic countries and warned of dispersion if thinkers do not cooperate.

Hashem Dadashpour, in his speech at the opening ceremony of the first round of Educational and Cultural Seminar for International Students held by University of Allameh Tabatabaei and said the meeting aimed to review the ways for convergence in the world of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He noted that the meeting also aimed to review the challenges and advantages in the world of Islam as part of efforts to boost solidarity among Muslims.
 
The Iranian deputy referred to lack of constructive interaction among Muslim elites and also lack of shared understanding of the current issues as the two challenges among Islamic countries.
 
Head of the Organization of University Students called for solid communication among thinkers and intellectuals in the world of Islam in order to find a solution for the present challenges in Muslim world.
 
He hailed the early years of Islam as the golden ages and said,” Concurrent with the dark ages in Europe, Muslims made remarkable scientific and cultural advancements inspired by the holy Qur’an and teachings by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).”
 
Dr Hashem Dadashpour praised the great achievements made by Muslims and bringing great changes to the world to contribute world people for centuries.
 
“All Muslim countries should join hands and find common solutions, in order to regain the top scientific peaks in the world and revive the golden ages of Islam” said the deputy of Ministry of Science.
 
He urged the international students to make the best of the opportunity and boos their scientific and communication skills in line with promoting convergence amongst themselves.
