The head of the Technical Engineering Services Commission of the Iran-Qatar Chamber of Commerce emphasized the importance of expanding the relations between the two countries.

Qatar is culturally and politically close to Iran.

 
Bilateral meetings and negotiations between the authorities of Iran and Qatar have been aimed at holding the 2022 FIFA World Cup for which Iran has announced its readiness.
 
Ali Razavi, head of the Technical Engineering Services Commission of the Iran-Qatar Chamber of Commerce, said: "Iran's main export goods to Qatar include food, fruits and vegetables, building stones, cement, rock salt (Halite), carpets and fitted carpet.
 
Referring to the Iran-Qatar Chamber of Commerce's visit of the Iran Economic Commission to Qatar, the head of the Technical Engineering Services Commission added: "This five-day trip with the presence of 70 export companies brought great achievements for economic activists."
 
 Razavi also said: "The opening of Iran's commercial center in Qatar centered on the trade development of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, the appointment of Iran's economic attaché in Qatar, visiting the economic capacity, including the Hamad Free Zone, are among the other valuable achievements of the visit of the Iranian trade delegation to Qatar."
