Islamic Endowments warns of sectarian war if Israel changes al-Aqsa Mosque
Islamic Endowments in Jerusalem has issued a statement to warn against any change to the al-Aqsa Mosque complex by Israeli regime stressing that the move will fuel sectarian war.

The Jerusalem Islamic Awqaf which is in charge of managing al-Aqsa Mosque and the Islamic holy sites has warned against any change brought to the historical site following efforts by extremist Jewish groups to enter one of the mosques to hold Jewish religious ceremony, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Jewish groups have reportedly demanded changing a mosque near Bab al-Rahma to synagogue.
Islamic Endowment at Jerusalem al-Quds has called on Israeli police and Tel Aviv regime to prevent entrance of extremist Jewish organizations, whose aim is to fuel the fire of war in the region, from entering the third holiest Islamic site.
The statement has stressed that calls by extremist organizations will drag the entire region into sectarian war with horrible consequences while the people in Jerusalem, Palestine and all Muslims will not spare any effort to defend al-Aqsa Mosque.
