Palestine Forum in Britain has held meeting in collaboration with European Palestinian Communications Forum (Europal) held meeting in London on Israeli regime misusing interfaith groups to promoted normalization plans, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Participants in this meeting have reportedly discussed Israeli regime’s misuse of interfaith groups to promote its own narration of the conflicts in a bid to alleviate criticism in different religious gatherings.
 
Davoud Abdullah, manager of the Middle East and Rafa’at Qasisi from Bethlehem were among the lecturers in this meeting.
 
Davoud Abdullah in his remarks stressed the relation between interfaith dialogue and the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement stressed,” Intensification of boycotting Israeli products has changed the strategic calculations of Tel Aviv regime and affected its supporters and that is why Israeli lobby has recommended to interfere and limit the inter-religious talks.”
 
Rafa’at Qasis, another speaker at the meeting referred to the present situation in Palestine highlighted importance of inter-religious cooperation for settling tensions.
 
He reiterated necessity of efforts to boost coordination among religions and civilizations adding that the move is especially needed when the holy Palestinian lands is discussed.
 
Zahir Birawi, chair of the Palestinian Forum in Britain (PFB) in his remarks at this meeting said,” This meeting aims to warn against Israeli regime or lobbying institutions in Europe misusing inter-civilization dialogues as the means for normalization of relations with other countries.
