Saudi Arabia executes two Shia prisoners over alleged terror charges

Saudi Arabia has beheaded two Shia prisoners in Qatif over alleged cooperation with terrorist groups.


Hussein Ali al-Abu Abdullah and Muhammad Khedr al-Awami were the two Shia political activists in Saudi jail who have been executed with sword over alleged cooperation with terrorist groups and other charges, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The execution was carried out under the pretext of alleged role in unrest, carrying weapons and fueling insecurity in the country.
 
An activist from Qatif region posted on his Twitter account that the two Shia prisoners have been executed and buried in an unknown place.
 
The execution of two prisoners is has followed the latest mass execution of 81 prisoners by Saudi authorities over alleged cooperation with Daesh, Qaeda and Yemen's Ansarullah movement and also measures against public security and sparking chaos.
