Non-oil export to Russia increases by 14%

The Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPO) reported a 14% increase in the country's non-oil export to Russia.

According to TPO, the value of Iran's non-oil exports to Russia in 2021 exceeded $ 579 million, weighing around 1.140 million tons.
In 2020, around $510,000 million of goods weighing over 1 million tons were exported to Russia from Iran.
The great Iran-Russia trade conference with the presence of representatives of more than 350 Iranian and Russian companies was held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, in the conference hall of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The conference was attended by Kazem Jalali, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Moscow, Alireza Peyman-Pak, the head of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO), and Sergei Katyrin, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
The capacities of economic and trade cooperation between Iran and Russia, especially in the current situation, were discussed.
