Imam Reza Holy shrine restates support for Palestinian cause

Astan Quds Razavi, the administrative organization in charge of the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) has held ceremony, attended by pilgrims from Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Pakistan and India, to voice support for the issue of Palestine and defending the rights of Palestinians in a ceremony, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The head of the Palestinian Islamic Council, Sheikh Nimr Ahmad Zaghmout, in this ceremony condemned some Arab states’ normalization of ties with the Israeli regime.

The senior cleric said," Nobody would put down arms in the occupied territories" and vowed that the final victors will be the Islamic Ummah and Palestine.

He expressed appreciation for the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, officials, and people of Iran.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, president of the committee to support Palestinian people, noted that the US pressure on Palestinian people will strengthen support for the oppressed nation.

He added," The Zionist regime should bear in mind that all freedom seekers in the world will stand by Palestine, and the occupying regime will lose its security, political and economic power day by day."

The ceremony also inaugurated the Quds website (http://holyquds.org) in five languages: Persian, English, Arabic, Spanish, and Russian. The website has some social activists and media experts on board for content production and technical issues. It carries the latest news and developments concerning Palestine and the Israeli regime.
