Maryland mosque to host interfaith meeting

Harford County Education Society's Al Falaah Mosque has scheduled to host interfaith meeting to be held on Sunday.


Christian and Jewish representatives will attend the ceremony to mark the Martin Luther King, freedom seeking Muslim leader in the US, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Rehan Khan, executive director of the mosque said Johari Abdul-Malik will deliver speech on relation between different ethnicities in view of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in this ceremony.
 
He said the ceremony has been annually held during the past six years unless last year which was cancelled due to the COVID-19 circumstances.
 
The ceremony will be held with limited number of participants though followers of other religions will be free to attend the event.
 
Rehan Khan added that the public are surprised to find the commonalities shared by Christians, Jews and Muslims.
